Thomas Greenland Davies was a Junior Inspector of Miners and then Senior Inspector for the South Wales Division between 1913-1925 and then the Divisional Inspector of Mines for the Northern Division between 1925 and 1936.
Davies was the President of the North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers between 1937 and 1938.
Davies lived at Rocklyn Lodge, Rowlands Gill (County Durham).
