Research and Education

The Institute has a long history of supporting research and involvement in education.

We are currently collaborating with Durham University and Chicago University on several projects.

We are able to provide outreach in a number of areas, and have previously given talks in school on the Industrial Revolution and have been able to send and former miners from the Northern coal field into schools to talk about their experiences.

We are building up a range of academic and professional publications and are always looking to support new publications.
