Bundles of leases, valuations, correspondence, accounts and miscellaneous papers mainly re Lord Durham’s Collieries, including Newbottle, Sherburn, Shadforth, Littletown, Houghton and others, 1761 – 1889.

Bundles of leases of collieries relating to the Hetton Coal Company, 1821 – 1881.

Bundles of leases and legal papers re various collieries, wayleaves and other properties in Northumberland and Durham, mainly relating to the colliery interests of the Grand Allies Partnership, signed 1726, including mentions of Sydney and Edward Wortley, Thomas and William Ord, Thomas and William Cotesworth, Liddell family, later Lords Ravensworth, Bowes family, later Lords Strathmore and the Earl of Bute, sometime partner. In cases where more than 3 partners are listed in an agreement, only the first names is noted in the list, 1614 – 1816.
