Over the years, the Mining Institute has also amassed a small object collection ranging from small items such as miners lamps, medals, badges and mineral samples through to larger items such as shovels and models.
The objects are being numbered, photographed, packaged and entered onto the main library catalogue with attached images. Visitors can request to see items at Neville Hall in the same way as any other item in the catalogue and can also request copies of the photograph of the item.
