Sunday April 2nd marks the tercentenary of the baptism of William Brown at the parish church of Heddon on the Wall. To mark the occasion the vicar is to use the 10 o’clock morning service to celebrate the event. Flowers will be laid at the grave and prayers will be said.
Members and Friends of the Mining Institute are invited to attend this celebration of the life of one of the great mining engineers of our region.
